A “Best out of Waste” competition is an event where participants are encouraged to create something innovative, artistic, or functional using materials that are typically considered waste or recyclable. The aim is to promote creativity, resourcefulness, and environmental awareness.
Eligibility:
- Open to college students.
Theme:
The theme for the competition is “Kanpur through Your Eyes.”
Team Size:
A maximum of two candidates can participate in a team.
Registration:
- Participants should register on or before 10th Feb 2024..
- Participants must possess a college or school I-Card to participate in the event.
Materials:
Students can use any kind of waste material. They are responsible for arranging all the waste materials for the competition themselves.
Time Limit:
The collage-making time limit is 2 hours.
Judging Criteria:
Judging will be based on:
- Creativity and originality.
- Use of colours and materials.
- Overall aesthetics and visual impact.
- Attention to detail and intricacy.
- Neatness and cleanliness.
Display Area:
Student work will be displayed in the JIDA and Jagran College Campus.
Clean-Up: Participants are instructed to clean up their area after completing their collage. Bins will be provided for waste disposal, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness will be emphasized.
